Shell.

Filed under: scar on the wrist — Tags: — marz ^_^ @ 8:38 pm

It’s funny, really, how in the end, I realize that I’m a very apathetic person. Either that, or I really do have my own world. Yeah, I might be part autistic. I’ve been trying to give a damn and somehow, the message never gets across. Like I’m screaming my lungs out in an extremely isolated place or something. It’s like being an oasis in the middle of the desert, only that no one ever sees the oasis. And since no one ever listens to what I have to say, I’ve learned to shut myself inside a shell and talk to myself instead.

Then people have been prodding me to come out of my shell. But I don’t listen. They didn’t listen when I still cared. Now, I don’t care.

Because being inside the shell feels so much better.

Nostalgia-ness.

Had a little bit of nostalgia-tripping today, literally.

It all started when we went to our cousins’ house to drop off something. While Mom was there, Dad, my bro, and I drove around to look for a photocopier. Guess what?

We saw our old house.

Now, that may not seem much to you, but to me, it does. After all, it’s where I spent the first five years of my life. I can still remember quite vividly those days when I’d actually play with neighbors, some of them my cousins (since I don’t get to do that where I live now).

I still remember the time when I tried on my cousin Mike’s bike, only to fall off (I wasn’t used to biking downhill) and get my knee scraped badly. (This I remembered while walking to their house from our car.)

I still remember their old house just a block away, where I used to spend a lot of my time playing and experimenting with the harmonica. It’s still there — the house, I mean.

I can still recall the day when I didn’t want to go home after having so much fun playing with my cousins over at their place. In fact, I think I only agreed to go home when it was getting really late, and if I wore my PJs (laugh all you want here, I was a weird kid).

I remember when Ate PC and I used to be busmates. Hell, the reason why I wanted to go to Miriam was because she studied there. It was my first foray into a so-called “big school”, and of course, I wanted someone familiar around.

I remember, when I was nine, we were supposed to go malling with our other cousins (Lloyd and Romlynn). What happened, though, was we got stuck in their house, and we ended up playing Tekken 3 all day. That was my first videogame ever, I believe.

Dammit. Remembering all those things makes me want to be a child again.

…I’ll go and hunt for baby pics now.

Got this from Luis, who got it from Cam

If you read this journal,
even if I don’t speak to you often,
post a memory of me.
It can be anything you want.
It can be good or bad,
just so long as it happened.

Then post this on your journal.
Be surprised and see what people remember about you.

Ugh. Boredom.

Filed under: behind the scenes, family, incoherence, nostalgia, summer — Tags: , , , , , — marz ^_^ @ 8:31 pm

Headset’s blaring. It’s now ‘Such Great Heights’.

Damn. I’m getting more and more bored by the second.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t have anything to do now. I’m still torrenting CG R2 EP2…

…on the other computer. XD

And I officially declare that IE sucks. Stupid laptop has no Firefox. I’d install it, but thing is, I’m not allowed to. This isn’t mine, after all.

Hmm.

Okay. It’s now “Better That We Break”.

Oh, and hahahahahahaha. I was looking for a torrent kanina. Of course, I chose the one with the most seeders.

Guess how many.

1326.

HAHAHAHA. And guess how many leechers?

313.

HAHAHA. Too funny and coincidental, if you ask me. And a bit freaky. O_o

Wala lang. I just wanted to share.

And I hate Tuesdays. Ugh.

You see, while my mom and bro were at the Manila Ocean Park (which is utter crap, I might add), Dad and I went around Manila to look for anything, ANYTHING to do.

Sadly, we found no such thing. We couldn’t find free wi-fi hotspots, then the National Museum’s closed on Tuesdays. Rawr.

I also got my yearbook from MC today, and I’m… dismayed. My write-up ended up under another girl’s name. O_O Oh, well. At least they got the icon right. :P

But it feels rather empty, having only song lyrics for your write-up. Bitin.

Haha. I hope our yearbook will turn out great. Hey, wait a minute. I’m on the yearbook com. HAHAHAHA.

Anyway… yeah. I was in MC, and it felt strange. Everything felt just so damn small, even the field. The corridors were too small  — Pisay has really wide corridors — and the ceiling too damn low. Wow.

But it’s pretty. And windy. :)

Hahaha.

Wow. This post was random. Really. O_o
