I just got back from Fontana. Yes, after an effin’ delayed flight.

As expected, I got knocked out at around 10. Blame the effect of only getting a few hours of sleep for one week, plus walking for miles, plus, yeah, the flight.

Man. I’m rather pleased with my grades.

It was card-giving earlier today, so, yeah, I went to school. Haha. Made tambay with Pate, Estelle, Marielle, Alvin, Ada, etc. Dami eh. XD

Then at around 12:30-ish, we had our batch pic. Under the sun. Let me just say that it was a rather horrible experience, being baked under the heat of the summer sun and all. Ugh, nasty, I tell you. You could even hear the teachers complaining about it.

Then the stampede going to the classroom. Haha. I think Sir Martin was pulling my leg when he told me (last Thursday) that my Bio grade went down — it retained. My Chem grade went down, though — but my average is still the same.

Haha.

Because, seriously, this vacation is bumming me out. Let’s see — I’ve been downloading, watching, reading, sleeping, eating, writing (fanfiction, yes. O_O)… That’s basically it.

Although that will change by tomorrow. Yeah — it’s effin’ card-giving. Ugh. I hate my TSK grade; it went down to 2.00. Grr. But, oh well. I loathe TSK with every single fiber of my being.

Which is why I am not taking up Robotics next year.

Speaking of electives, I don’t know what to take up yet. Possible options are CreW, Field Bio, Advanced Chem (if it’s gonna be offered), and Food Sci. Field Bio’s a summer elective, so — I dunno. It sounds loads of fun, though.

And I certainly do hope that I get in. BBSC, I mean. Yeah, I’ll be a mea– just kidding.

Anyway, after card-giving, I’m off to Hong Kong for 6 days. Not to worry, though, there’s a chance that I might be online, as there’s wi-fi. Whee. I think our itinerary this year’s more relaxing, as we’ve already been to Disneyland, Ocean Park, and all the other tourist attractions last year. So I guess we’re off to the museums and the malls now. )

Speaking of which, I’ll have to check out prices of stuff. Like clothes. (Yes, I’m actually shopping for clothes! GASP!) And books (I did some price-checking already, so…). And maybe some gadgets. Heaven knows I need a better phone. And/or a laptop. Or an iPod. Yeah.

*catches breath*

Sorry for not updating these past few days. School has been extremely hectic (it’s already exam week) and I tend to fall asleep easily lately.

And yeah, things have been bothering me. Ever since… Tuesday, to be precise. I’ve been so troubled by it that I get the urge to just cry about it in my room. So screw it.

So, yeah, I guess that’s it.

BTW. Pisay fair tomorrow. Yay.

Time flies quickly if you’re having fun.

Indeed, it does. Who ever thought that I’d actually enjoy myself this year, despite the workload?

But then again, if you’re with Dahlia, it seems inevitable. After all, we have fun most of the time — so much fun that it seems toxic.

I must admit, I was rather reluctant to blend in at first. After the familiarity I’ve felt with my first year classmates, it felt different to be suddenly uprooted and forced to be with people I didn’t know. Change was something that was unavoidable, but undesired. I was content. I wanted to stick to the status quo, so to speak.

But then, I realized, if I didn’t even try to blend in, I would definitely miss out on a lot of things. I’d miss out on all the fun. I’d probably be an extremely grade-conscious, paranoid recluse. And that’s another change if it happened, seeing as I’m not an introvert.

So I relaxed and joined in the fun. And it’s a decision I’ll never regret. I’ve made a lot of friends, I learned to deal with an assortment of characters, eccentricities, and idiosyncrasies

I may not be as close to them as I was to Garnet, but they’re still endearing to me.  After all, they’re the ones who go through the same hell as I do — academics-wise. And our wide range of personalities complement each other well — something that’s a bit of a miracle, if you ask me.

I’ll never forget Dahlia.

Yeah. I feel so goddamn bored right now. Seriously.

And I want to just lie down in bed right now, but I can’t. I’m not at home, you see.

But still. Free wi-fi is always, always a blessing. Especially if you don’t feel like swimming right now since it’s raining. Grah.

You know something? I’m really grateful there’s no classes tomorrow — I need the holiday badly. Yeah, to catch up on lost sleep. And it’s useful for attempting to read Alan Paton’s Cry The Beloved Country.

Because seriously, I find it immensely boring. Gah. I do hope we have better readings for English next year.

Oh, and I still have that Documentor Report shit for Tech Skills. I mean, I can’t finish it NOW, since my groupmates haven’t taken the safety test yet.

Which means an incomplete report, due to insufficient data. Darn.

And there’s still that friggin’ SS HBP thing to work on. Rawr. Stress. Stress. Stress. There’s still that Filipino comic book AND play to worry about.

And you know what?

I just want this whole thing to be over.
